My name is Zoe Trautz and I live in Seattle, Washington. I have a B.S. in Biology (Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior) from the University of Texas. I am a certified canine behavior consultant (CBCC-KA) through the CCPDT, and I have worked full time in animal sheltering since 2017.

 

My artwork usually centers around plants, animals, nature, and biomorphic forms. Historically, I have been most interested in surrealism, and have frequently utilized automatic drawing processes when producing art.

For the past few years I have shifted away from 2d art towards horticulture, terrariums, planted aquariums, and sculptures that utilize living plant material. I do not yet have photos of most of this work.
